Prototyping and modelling is of the msot effective ways of communicating initial concepts and final designs. Physical protyping can begin with simple and quick 'sketch models' using cardboard and can later become more materially accurate models of scale accurate models.

Digitial modelling typically invovles utilsing software to create models that are a true visual representation of the product. This covers both creating a digital model and then rendering the model to be marketable/presentable. These digital files can also provide a means of displaying design detailing through technical pages and have the ability to run tests of durability and resistances through simualtions. Digitlal models can also be used to create physical models through means such as 3D printing.
