A project undertaken over an 8 week period during my 24 week placement year. The task was to draw influence from three differing aesthetics and/or functionality

The design outcome draws influence from three different places.

The material choice is taken from 'Japandi' aesthetics.

The form and shape draws from 'modern' influence.

The functionality of detachable and re-attachable parts, creating a piece that serves as a compact coffee table/book table and can also become a lengthier TV stand and storage. this derives from influences taken from 'modular' furniture
